Milk tea is an indispensable drink in Mongolian life. Abaga tea is common milk in Keshiketengqi.
The way to prepare it is to: stir-fry millets and naked oat flour, boil together with “brick tea” and fresh milk. Add salt, sugar, stir-fried rice, milk tofu, milk skin and butter as flavors. Mongolian like milk tea, some drink it every meal and some will soak mutton or beef pieces in the milk tea. Abaga tea can both quench thirst or hunger and help people relax which is very good for visiting guests from far away. It also shows herdsmen’s hospitality and respect for their quests.
